What is the ATR Bulk Freighter Cargo?
BFC (can be installed with or without the LCD)
Bulk Freighter Cargo (“BFC”) attributes are:
- Floor width: 2.26m (89”)
- Reinforced floor structure – 400kg/m² (82lbs/ft²);
- Largest floor width available in the regional aircraft market;
- The Cargo Configuration matches the requirement EASA CS 25.857 Class E;
- Seat Tracks added on side walls and ceiling for 8 divisible vertical nets, which can be increased to up to 17 areas using spider nets and straps, giving excellent flexibility;
- Movable nets across the Structural Tube to accommodate any odd size freight and avoid load shifts;
- Heavy duty light weight liner installation across the structural tube with Aluminium ceilings;
- Removal of the entire passenger interior including unnecessary wiring bundle, air conditioning ducts, vibration mass, insulation blankets etc for weight gains;
- All BFC conversions include light weight aluminium window plugs as a replacement of the original windows, removing certain scheduled maintenance tasks associated with transparencies etc
