What is the IPRC M7 Upper Hinge Door?
M7 rear Upper Hinge Door (“UHD”):
In early 2025, IPRC purchase the M7 STC from Elbit Systems, to complete our freight conversion options and to meet operators’ specific requirements. IPRC’s approach has been to focus on, extract and combine the “best of each STC” from either the existing IPR STC or the M7 STC, to develop key enhancements.
These include:
- Rear upper hinge door, which is a key addition to the STC offerings by IPRC;
- Forward ‘Standard Cargo Door’ operations using gas actuators;
- Improved floor board and floor structures;
- Emergency Exit Plugs for reduced maintenance;
Key attributes are:
- Rear upward lifting cargo door;
- Easier loading and unloading capabilities;
- Hydraulically actuated door (extremely reliable, with no in service issues);
